- Wave Road

Wave Road arrived in 2023 from NovaArc Studio, built as a simple but absorbing arcade reflex game. Instead of putting you on a regular track, the game sends you drifting across glowing slopes in deep space. Nothing stays still for long—paths bend, speed shifts, and transporter gates appear right when you think you’ve settled into the rhythm. The whole idea is straightforward: stay alive, score clean passes, and hold your line as the road becomes more unpredictable.

Your character isn’t a hero or a machine—it’s a small streak of light that hovers in mid-air. Each run drops you on a fresh layout since the map is randomly generated. Your main job is to guide that light through transporter gates. Passing perfectly gives you full points, but even if you slip past a gate, you can still earn a partial score as long as you dodge the obstacles on the way out.
The movement system couldn’t be simpler:
Hold the left mouse button to rise.
Let go to glide downward.
It sounds easy, but the challenge comes from staying calm once the slopes begin shifting faster. Because the light can’t touch anything, even a small misread can end your run instantly.
While playing, you collect small energy spheres. These can be traded for new wave forms, each with its own trail effect. The upgrades don’t make the game easier, but they give your runs a bit more personality and help you track your motion better when the speed gets intense.
Try to watch the path ahead rather than staring at your character. Smooth, gentle movements tend to work better than sharp corrections, especially when the road starts tilting unexpectedly. When you see a transporter gate coming, line up early so you don’t scramble at the last second. If you’re saving energy spheres, invest in wave effects that improve visibility—they help more than you think during fast stretches.
Flying Ball – A quick-reaction airborne dodging game.
Rolly Vortex – Race through rotating tunnels packed with shifting blocks.
